My first Workshop

*I had so much fun for my first workshop! I had a couple groups of people that I demo'ed for. These are the items we made, a bookmark and a card. We had a door prize, the grand prize went to Kim Lowder. We had some nice snacks including some hummus I made.

The bookmark is using the Friendship Blooms set (Sale-a-bration 2008), the phrase is from Enjoy Every Moment. The colors are Cool Caribbean, and Certainly Celery and Whisper White (cardstock).
The card is using several sets, Define Your Life, Seeing Spots, Be Happy, and Little Flowers. The colors are Pixie Pink, Certainly Celery and Summer Sun. The ribbon is not SU.

More from Friendship Blooms

Here are two more cards to try from the "Friendship Blooms" set.

The first uses Basic Black and Taken with Teal cardstock. The image is stamped, then I water colored the image with a watered down Taken with Teal, and watered down Summer Sun for the center. Then the words are from the set "It's Your Birthday." The words are also stamped in the TwT. I then rubbed the edges of the TT paper and the words on my BB ink pad to give it a sharp, clean look.

The second uses Purely Pomegranate, Pixie pink, and Only Orange card stock and ink. With the PPom. I stamped the flower on both the PPink and OO card stock twice. I cut out the center on one of each color to place on the center of the opposite. The scrolling swirl stamp is in the back with the PPom stamp, placed in opposite directions of each other and the Flowers placed over where the two meet. Then the phrase comes with the Friendship Blooms set, is stamped on the OO card stock.

My newest Stamp set

Thanks to the Sale-a-Bration, one of my newest stamp sets is Friendship Blooms. Here are a few cards I have made using it.

The first one is using Friendship Blooms and the circles in the back is from Seeing Spots. The papers are Purely Pomegranate, Old olive, and Whisper White. I stamped the flower onto the purely pomegranate paper then embossed it in white. Then the flower is popped up using a pop up glue dot.

The second one is using Purely Pomegranate, Old Olive, and So Saffron. Then notice the tear? I used the Tearing Edge and tore the SS card stock, and that is mounted on the PP. Then I used the coordinated ink colors ands card stock behind the stamped image on the SS to make the colors pop. Only the center of the flower is mounted to the PP cardstock, then I bent the petals outward just a little bit. The PP is then on the card with a pop up glue dot.
