Decorating ~project #1

I've been working on various projects in decorating my home. Above is one, but I recently decided that 3 isn't enough, so I'm going to do six, and they're going to be smaller. But I still am very happy with what I have now.  They are vintage images of drawings of birds. You can find free images on the internet. There are websites/blogs that I follow that provide some of these. Check out the Graphics Fairy or the Vintage Moth for some fun things.

So to start I had a few frames from yard sales and DI (I always pick some up there, as long as the frame isn't cracked).

I paint them black with just crafting acrylic paint, and sanded the edges, and bits across the frame w/ different roughness/pressure to give a natural varying look. Then simply printed the images as the correct sizes. It was quick and fun.

Stamp a Stack

For those in the Salt Lake Valley, I am doing a card class on Saturday, April 24th at 9am.

 5 cards for 8$

10 cards for 15$ 

20 cards for 20$  

25 cards for 25$

(prices include envelopes)

You may choose which cards you want to make from below.

Cards must be done in quantities of two's or five's (it's a huge hassle to do 5 cards one of each design). For example five wedding cards, or if you want to make 10 cards, you can do two of each design. With the exception of the baby card. You may do 2 and 3, or 1 and 4.

If you are interested, please email no later than April 19th, pre-payment is preferred but not required.

Simple Cards

I cased this from someone else (and I'm sorry, I don't remember who!), and I loved the beautiful simplicity of it! It's so refreshing! So I did a few different cards with the same simple feel.
