Sorry for the lack of posting. I've been busy and continued to have a difficult pregnancy. There are many promotions right now with Stampin' UP, so check out the website to see all the details.
As of January 1, 2009, I will no longer be a demonstrator. Unfortunately, I cannot keep up this hobby with my situation. Not to mention I'll have two little ones in a couple of months. If you are in need of a new demonstrator, I'm refering you all to my upline, Kelly. Email me for her information.
I will keep this blog for a while hoping to post my cards still along with other crafts.
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

Doing Better, FINALLY!
I am finally feeling better, and over the morning sickness phase! I'm rejoicing. But the last few days I've been feeling better, I haven't done any stamping. I've been deep cleaning, and enjoying time with my son, and just getting some really R and R. I am determined to start this week! I'll finally get to play with my new stuff (that I've had for a month!). My main project to get completed now are our Halloween Invitations. So Once I complete those, I'll post them. I can't wait to start stamping again! So check back soon!

Cancellation
Oops, I forgot while scheduling my event/workshop for World Card Making Day, that Saturday, October 4th, is during *General Conference! So, I will be cancelling it. I'm not sure if I'm going to reschedule or not, I am still very sick, and haven't even had time to play with the new stamps I ordered two weeks ago or come up with the cards we would be making! Please keep looking for updates, and hopefully I will start feeling well again!
*General Conference is a twice yearly general meeting for the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (also known as Mormons). The apostles, prophets and other leaders of the church prepare talks on many topics (ranging from service to avoiding pornography to faith). Over two days, Saturday and Sunday, there are five sessions where we can hear these talks. It is a wonderful and spiritual event. To learn more, please visit mormon.org

New Stuff!
I got my shipment yesterday (8/29). Perfect timing, I thought I was going to have to wait until Tuesday! I got the scallop edge punch, Heritage Holiday stamp set (pg 7 20.95$) and a couple of In Colors, Pink Pirouette, and Kiwi Kiss, and excited to use them! A small order, but I'm excited to start playing. Hopefully I can get organized on Monday. I've been using my kitchen as my stamping space, but my hubby moved out of his art studio to save some money, now he needs the kitchen dining space. I have to go back to my cramped table in our bedroom. But It's been covered with other items to get out of the way, such as old seasonal decor, my embroidery projects, and other crafting items I've been working on. So hopefully I'll have some fun Christmas card projects for you to do soon!

More 1$ stamps
I love Stampin' Up! but I can't help resisting these 1$ stamps. I got the 3 horizontal ones at Michael's, and the other one at Joann's. They're made by the same company, but different designers. I bought the bobbin ribbon for 1$ too. The grosgrain orange color will be perfect to go with my Halloween cards and scrapbook pages.
In the meantime, I'm awaiting September 1st. That is the date the SU Demonstrators get to preorder from the Holiday Mini Catalog! I love some of the Halloween ones, there is a jumbo wheel that is spooky fence, and it coordinates with a whole set. The Christmas sets are fabulous, and if you love the Flower Fusion, they have felt Snowflakes too! It'll be great! If you've ordered from me before, you'll be getting a catalog in the mail soon! I'm also getting an SU shipment today. It's my first personal order from the new catalog. And what a perfect day for it to arrive! Today is my birthday! I don't think I'll be able to play today though. I have to go to work, and have a little party later, and I am still a bit sick. So, hopefully Monday when its cold and wet outside, I'll feel up for it!

Holiday Ideas
These are some cards i made last year. Most of them from not SU stamps, but you can apply the same idea to your stamps.
This stamp was a basic 1$ stamp I purchased at Michael's a few years ago. The paper was from a autumn stack I bought last fall. The colors I used were more Mustard card stock and Cool Caribbean (an old "In Color" but you could use Tempting Turquoise instead).
The was using 2 1$ stamps I purchased last holiday season. I used Bashful Blue and Chocolate Chip. This idea can very easily be replicated.
This is paper I purchased at Robert's last year (it's still there, I don't remember who it's by). And some inexpensive embellishments. Then below the printed paper I pierced the paper with a straight line.
The saying is another 1$ stamp. The white is embossed on Bashful Blue.
This is using a retired Stampin' Up! set called Sparkling Season. The ornaments are made using Elmer's glitter glue, then I used long gold barrel type beads for the star. The background has the sparkling tree stampin around in Read Red. The tree is using Green Galore. In other versions of this card, the green paper had white polka dots.
