From the Kitchen Of:
This is one of my newer stamp sets that I haven't had much time to play with. It is called 'From the Kitchen of'. We will use this when we have our Pampered Chef and Stampin UP! party, we still have to pick a date. I've had fun with it so far. I stamped the main image on white and mounted it on Certainly Celery. I colored the cherries with my stampin write markers of CC and Real Red.I stamped the words from the kitchen of on Real Red, and used the 1" circle punch, and mounted on the stamp. Then I used the black and white ribbon and simply stapled it on the card. I will make more of these too. I just am busy lately, but with all the family drama over on my side, Jeff's family is in town for the week before they move to Michigan, so I'm expecting a lot of time will be spent with them.

So Many Scallops
The little flower was from the Big Bold Birthday set, but similar ones could be used from Little Flowers or Little Pieces. The Colors here are Pumpkin Pie and Pixie Pink. The ribbon was from Wal Mart a few years ago, but the colors worked perfectly. Simple and sweet.
Another very basic one. I was just playing with the set trying to get a taste of it. This is using Pixie Pink, Pumpkin Pie, and Certainly Celery. I inked the image with Stampin' Write Markers. The ribbon is pixie pink as well.
The colors here are Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue. I again inked the image with Stampin Write Markers. The ribbon is also chocolate chip. The scallop is mounted with pop up dots.
This is with Brilliant Blue and Bashful Blue. the image is stamped with Brilliant Blue, then I colored with the Bashful Blue. The paper was torn using the Tearing Edge, and the little stars were punched with a 1$ star punch. The scallop again was mounted with pop up dots.

Presenting....
The Decor Elements product line is an extension of our Definitely Decorative home décor line. Décor Elements is vinyl artwork for walls, mirrors, windows, or other hard, smooth surfaces.
Stampin' Up! has long advocated decorating your home using Definitely Decorative stamp sets. Décor Elements takes that same idea and uses a different medium to accomplish the same mission-making your home a beautiful representation of your style!
Through our product development, we've been able to achieve intricate designs because of our manufacturing process. Whether customers want to spice up the walls of their house or frame a piece for display, Décor Elements is easy to apply, easy to love, and easy to remove.
The Décor Elements product line is another way to let you express your creativity-just on a larger canvas than a card or scrapbook page! This natural extension of our products is also right on trend, and our artwork converts from stamp sets to wall art images with ease.
While we are offering phrases and lettering, Stampin' Up! also has incredible artwork that lends itself to beautiful home décor images. Our artwork really stands out when you see it on a wall, a mirror, or a window. We believe that this different approach is just one differentiator between Stampin' Up! and the competition.
Another differentiator is that the Décor Elements images and techniques available also coordinate with our existing products. We brought you Two-Step Stampin', so why not two-step and three-step wall art that will really catch attention?
I have gotten a sneak peak at some of these, and they are soooooo cool! The brochure will be online July 1st! I have a sneak peak brochure I am emailing, if you don't get it today, then I don't have your email. Email me at katiejohale@gmail.com for a mini brochure! Birthday Stamp a Stack Cards
This is with Pixie Pink, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa. For the frosting I used the "Kissing with a Twist" technique. I stamped the main image in Close to Cocoa, then the dots in the set was stamped in Chocolate Chip, then I Stamped the spots to the stamp of the frosting many times, and twisted it a little bit, and that's what gave it the swirly look. The cupcakes were stamped on white paper, then I cut them out, and mounted them on white. The candle was also stamped in Pixie Pink, and I filled in the flame with a yellow marker. I used scallop scissors for edging on the white.
As you can see, this one is based on the previous Red and Yellow card. The colors are Lavender Lace, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, and Basic Black. Here I used the masking technique to create multiple balloons layering each other. For masking, you stamp the image
then cut it out exactly. You place it on top of the balloons you already stamped on your main image, then stamp the next balloon. It works best if you use a post it note. The tab is using one of the SU Tab punches, and the Corner Rounder Punch. With the Dazzling Diamonds and two way glue, I overlayed the dots on the CC. Then for the balloons I used a Glitter Glue. For surrounding the HB on the tab, I used the Dazzling Diamonds again. The HB is stamped on white paper, cut out then mounted on the tab.
This is with Cool Caribbean, Pumpkin Pie, and Basic Black. Cool Caribbean is a favorite color of mine, however it was an "In Color" from 2006-2007, so it's no longer available, but you can easily use Tempting Turquoise in it's place. Here we used the kissing technique again. The present was stamped in CC and the dots stamped in PP and then 'kissed' or lightly touched it to the present, careful not to twist, b/c it would then go brown. The edges of the image were rubbed in CC before mounted to the PP. The string is embroidery floss to match.
Birthday Cards!
These are the birthday cards I made while trying to decide what we should make for the Birthday Stamp a Stack.
This uses Big Bold Birthday, and It's your Birthday.
The colors used are Summer Sun, Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. The tab is used a Tab Punch, and a corner rounder punch was used too. The ribbon is the only thing that is not SU.
Again this is using Big Bold Birthday and It's Your Birthday, and the background is using the Sprinkles set. This is with Lavender Lace, Lovely Lilac and Certainly Celery. The glitter is using the Two Way Glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. The string is Embroidery Floss.
